Dancing Without the Intimidation
Dancing is how I keep my sanity. It’s the one thing on my calendar that’s a non-negotiable. Somewhere between the first song and the last one, your brain finally shuts up. Your to-do list disappears, your shoulders relax, and suddenly the only decision you have to make is whether your hips are going left or right or right to left.
I know walking into a dance class can feel intimidating. Here’s the secret nobody tells you: no one knows what they’re doing. Even me sometimes, and I’m the one teaching. There are no wrong moves, just surprise choreography. The good news is that nobody’s watching you anyway. They’re all watching me, trying to figure out what comes next.
Public Classes
I’m a certified Zumba instructor, which means I teach almost entirely through non-verbal cueing. I point, gesture, smile, exaggerate movements, and somehow we all end up in roughly the same place by the end of the song. There are always modifications, so you can make every move bigger, smaller, faster, or slower. As long as you’re moving and having fun, you’re doing it right.

I can bring the party to you throughout the Charleston area, or you can come dance with me in the studio. We’ll build the experience around what you want. Want to sweat through an entire playlist? Perfect. Want to learn the choreography to your favorite songs so you can absolutely own the dance floor at the next wedding? We can do that too. Whether you want Latin rhythms, pop hits, country, throwbacks, or a little bit of everything, we’ll make it yours.

Every private dance experience is customized for your group. Most sessions are 90 minutes because it gives us time to learn, laugh, take a breather, and really get into the music without feeling rushed.

I’m Ronii Bartles, a certified Zumba instructor in Charleston, SC, who believes dancing should feel like a party, not an audition. I teach primarily through non-verbal cueing, so there’s less stopping, explaining, and overthinking, and a whole lot more moving.

A customized 90-minute private dance experience built around your group. We’ll mix styles, music, and intensity based on what sounds fun to you, from Latin and pop to country, throwbacks, Zumba-style dance fitness, or a little of everything. No dance experience required and no expectation that anybody remember choreography after the champagne kicks in.
Dance Happy Hour includes up to 8 guests, with additional guests at $35 each. Studio or venue rental, if needed, is quoted separately. I can also bring the party to your home, vacation rental, or event venue when the space allows.

Looking to really bust a move? I’m so down. This extended private dance experience gives us up to three hours to play, with a custom playlist, a mix of dance styles, more time for instruction, and built-in hydration and snack breaks. Want to learn a routine? Try a few different styles? Spend half the afternoon dancing to songs you forgot you loved? We can do that.
